About us

J.H. Fisher & Sons was established in 1929 by Jack Harder Fisher, the grandfather of Andrew Fisher, the current principal and owner. Over almost 100 years there have been four offices located around Sydney – in Lane Cove, the City, Annandale and North Strathfield. J.H. Fisher & Sons have been in their current location at 205 Concord Road, North Strathfield since 2000.

Jack’s three sons Peter, Rod and Michael all went into the family business and in 1973 Andrew’s father Michael started a branch office in North Strathfield. Following his graduation from Macquarie University in 1993 Andrew joined the business and 2005 the firm was transferred to him.

When Andrew started working in the practice J.H. Fisher & Sons did Court work as well as Conveyancing, Wills and Probate. Over time we decided to focus more on Conveyancing, Wills and Probate. This has allowed us to respond to our client’s needs much more quickly, particularly when they are in negotiations to buy property. We can now action clients’ files immediately so that they don’t miss out on the purchase.

Location

We are conveniently located at 205 Concord Road, North Strathfield. The 458 and M41 bus routes both stop within a block or two of our practice and we are a 7 minute walk from North Strathfield railway station.

There is ample on-street parking just around the corner in Clermont Avenue, Clermont Lane and Davidson Avenue.
